Return & Cancellation Policy

We wholeheartedly believe in the quality of our offerings at Weather Empire, yet we acknowledge that sometimes a product might not meet your expectations and so we offer a generous, no hassle 30 day return policy.

Return Policy

If you want to return a purchase within 30 days of receiving it, email us at sales@weatherempire.com with your order number. Once we get it, we'll be in touch with thorough instructions on how to handle your return.

Shipping and Return Costs

Note that the costs of original shipping and the costs of returning the item(s) in the shipment will be the responsibility of the customer.

Restocking Fees

Some manufacturers charge a restocking fee. These fees are prominently displayed on the product page(s) for any applicable items.

When required, the customer will also be responsible for these cost(s) when processing a refund.

Return Inspection and Authorization

Once your return item(s) have been received and inspected at our warehouse(s), we will send you an email notification that we have processed your return payment.

After your item(s) have been returned to our warehouse(s) and if they pass inspection, we will contact you via email letting you know that we've processed your return payment.

The inspection process that takes place at our warehouse(s) is to determine whether the item(s) have been returned in a "Like New" condition meaning that the there should be no visible signs of wear and tear.

In addition, the item(s) must be returned in their original packaging and include any accessories, if applicable.

Excessive signs of wear and tear, damaged or incomplete packaging and/or missing or damaged accessories are all reasons that an item can fail inspection at our warehouse(s). If the item(s) do not pass inspection for any (or all) of these reasons, no refund will be issued. 

Damaged Shipments

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) upon arrival.

If you notice any damage, either refuse the delivery and make a note on the delivery receipt, or accept the delivery, making note of the damage, and immediately take photos.

Should your item(s) arrive damaged, promptly send photos to sales@weatherempire.com. We are here to assist and will work diligently to resolve the issue, whether that's through a refund or replacing your order.

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel an order, please email orders@weatherscientific.com or call our customer service team immediately and mention your order (PO) number to avoid return shipping fees, plus a 5% processing fee.

If, for any reason, you need to cancel an order, we are more than happy to help you. You can either call us at (844) 786-7647 or email us at sales@weatherempire.com. Note that you will need your order number from the email receipt you received.

Cancellations Prior to Shipment

If you contact us to cancel and your order has not yet shipped, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellations After Shipment

If you contact us to cancel and your order has shipped, then the order will fall under the rules of our return policy (above). The customer will also be subject to a 5% processing fee.

Cancellations of Pre-Orders and Backorders

If you order an item that isn't available yet (pre-order) or is temporarily out of stock (backorder), and then decide to cancel it before it ships, you'll be charged a fee of 5% processing fee. This fee is charged only if you cancel before the item ships, instead of waiting for it to be shipped as planned.

Brand Exceptions to Our Return Policy

We've done our best to work with our suppliers such that our return policies align as closely as possible. However, in some cases, a vendor may not honor our 30 day return policy.

If that's the case, we've clearly noted that on the appropriate product page(s). It's the customer's responsibility to be aware of any such restrictions prior to placing an order.
